Meeting someone new should feel good. Here’s how to stay safe, and what to do if something doesn’t feel right.

Before and on a first meeting

Start with a video call. It’s free and you can leave anytime.
Meet in a public place the first time, and arrange your own transportation.
Tell a friend or family member where you’re going and who you’re meeting.
Never send money, financial details, passwords or ID numbers to someone you’ve met here.
Trust your gut. You can end a call, leave a date, or unmatch at any time.

How to report someone

On any match page, use Report. It closes the match and sends your report to our team. You can also Unmatch at any time without giving a reason.

If you are in immediate danger, call 911 (or your local emergency number) first. We are not an emergency service.
