Waiver & Release of Liability

1. Age requirement
You must be at least 18 years old to create an account or use The Right Match (“the Service”). By accepting this waiver, you confirm that you are 18 or older and that the date of birth you provided is accurate.
2. Assumption of risk
The Service helps you connect with other people for the purpose of dating and meeting in person. Meeting new people, including people you first met online, carries inherent risks — including but not limited to physical safety risks, emotional risks, financial risks, and the risk that information someone gives you about themselves is incomplete or untrue. The Service performs limited checks (such as age attestation and, where enabled, photo/content moderation) but does not conduct criminal background checks and cannot guarantee the identity, intentions, or safety of any other user. You voluntarily assume all risks associated with communicating with, video calling, and meeting any person through the Service.
3. Your responsibility for personal safety
You agree to take reasonable precautions when interacting with other users, including but not limited to: not sharing financial information (bank details, credit card numbers, passwords, Social Security or government ID numbers) with other users; meeting for the first time in a public place; telling a friend or family member where you're going; and trusting your own judgment if something feels wrong. The Right Match is not responsible for the conduct of any user, online or offline.
4. Release of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, you release, waive, and discharge The Right Match, its owners, employees, and agents from any and all liability, claims, demands, or causes of action arising out of or related to any interaction, communication, video call, or in-person meeting arranged through the Service, including claims based on the negligence of The Right Match to the extent permitted by applicable law. This release does not apply to liability that cannot be waived under applicable law.
5. No guarantee of compatibility or outcome
Matches are generated by an automated compatibility algorithm based on information you provide. The Right Match makes no guarantee, express or implied, about the accuracy of any match, the compatibility of any two users, or any relationship outcome.
6. Governing law
This waiver is governed by the laws of the State of Utah, without regard to its conflict-of-law principles.
7. Acknowledgment
By checking the box at signup, you acknowledge that you have read and understood this waiver, that you are entering into it voluntarily, and that you agree to its terms as a condition of using the Service.
